NEWS

Christmas is coming!

Yes it’s true that Christmas is only a couple of months away and now is a good time to get organised. We have new stock arriving in readiness for Christmas.

We have some of our favourite, exciting children’s games coming from Haba, who are one of the premier German games manufacturers. There are new kites in stock, always a fun gift and perfect in the Featherston wind. Voila wooden puzzles and beautiful Djeco craft sets from France will be arriving soon.

You can also Layby for Christmas to ensure that we put aside the games and toys that you really want. It’s always disappointing to find that you have made up the shopping list and half of the items are no longer available.

Remember that we are happy to order larger items in for you with just a 20% deposit. We have lots of catalogues with wonderful products such as wooden castles, dolls houses, garages and table & chair sets, to name a few.

A big thank you to all who joined in our Birthday Celebrations.

We loved seeing our friends come into the shop with their good wishes on our 6 years in business and take advantage of our birthday sale.

Special thanks also to those who helped out, especially Josh who made a supreme effort to dress up in Armour and hand out lollies, Sandie for the wonderful face painting, May who guided shoppers, Jayden who ably assisted and Minty for the exciting game demonstrations - speaking of which...

ToppletreeMinty also showed shoppers how to play Toppletree - $29.90, which is like a cross between Connect-4 and Jenga. A game that everyone wants to play again immediately after they’ve finished their first game!

It’s a delightfully tactile, action-packed game that builds to a nail-biting conclusion as players take turns adding to an ever growing tree – that becomes more unstable with every move!

Experienced explorers can play a second, even more challenging game. Using a set of clue cards, you can launch a fast paced battle requiring quick thinking and even quicker answers!  There is also an expansion The Amazing Moa Hunt™ - Off the Beaten Track.
